Industrial Vacuum Rotary Evaporator is an efficient evaporation equipment and distillation equipment, it is able to distribute liquid material into uniform and thin film under effect of high speed revolution. 

Industrial Vacuum Rotary Evaporator  is widely supplied in pharmacy industry, food industry, oil industry, chemical industry, enviromental protection industry and others.


The industrial vacuum rotary evaporator adopts centrifugal type sliding groove rotor, is able to distribute liquid material into thin film evenly with very little flow. The deposit contained in the feed material is able to be removed when it was stick the inner wall of evaporator. Comparing with fixed scraper thin film evaporator, it has 40-69% higher evaporating capacity.

The industrial vacuum rotary evaporator has the following advantages:

1. High heat transfer coefficient and larger evaporating capacity per unit volume. The unit capacity could be up to 200kg/
2. Short heating time, around 5-10 seconds, and working under vacuum condition, it is benefit to thermosensitive material. The material is able to keep original quality, and free of breaking down.

4. We can change the direction of rotation of scraper groove to adjust the evaporating time.
5. The inner wall of evaporator is bored precisely and polished finish, dificult to scaling and fouling.

Configuration and Structure 

The industrial vacuum rotary evaporator is composed of a revolving shaft, scraper blades, bearing, evaporating chamber and heating jacket. There are two types: horizontal type and vertical type.

Regarding the vertical type rotary evaporator, the feed material enters into the evaporator from the top. It passes through a spinning distribution plate which driven by a revolving shaft. Under the effect of centrifuge, the material would be thrown to the inner wall of the heater. Then it would flow downwards along the wall under the effect of gravity. At the meantime, the material is scraped into thin film by scraper blades and is heated up by heating jacket. 

The secondary steam evaporated would escape from the top, and enter into the condenser. 

The film formed is very thin, the elevation of boiling point is negligible. And the heating time is very short, is determined by the length of equipments, the guide angle of scraper blades and rotation speed, 2~45 seconds generally. 

The heater is a cylinder body complete with heating jacket, it is customized according to process requirement and. When the concentration ratio required is large, the heater can be lengthened, and be divided into several heating area. 

The inner wall of the heater must be fine finished, and the gap between the scraper blades and inner wall should be around 1.5±0.3mm.
